We've looking right down the throat of Day Canyon at the Cucamonga Truck Road (1N34) which winds from the foothills all the way over to the Joe Elliot campground (5840'). The road passes within one mile of Cucamonga Peak, but don't be fool by its proximity — it's 3100 feet below!
