View northeast from 7654-foot saddle - Water that would fall at our feet would flow into the Middle Fork Lytle Creek and east to the Cajon Pass.
This splendid high county is delightful.
10:32 - We leave the 7654-foot saddle and head south on the trail as it begins to zigzag up the north slope of Cucamonga Peak.
